Abstract
This Regulation supplements Regulation (EU) 2017/625 as regards the requirements for the entry in the European Union of consignments of certain animals and goods intended for human consumption from third countries or regions thereof in order to ensure that they comply with the applicable requirements established by the rules referred to in article 1(2)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 or with requirements recognized to be at least equivalent thereto. The requirements include the identification of animals and goods, as well as conditions for the official certificates, official attestations and private attestations that shall accompany certain animals and goods for entry into the European Union.
