Abstract
This Regulation lays down supplementing animal health rules concerning the registered and approved germinal product establishments and the traceability and animal health requirements for movements within the Union of germinal products of certain kept terrestrial animals. Part II sets forth provisions on the requirements for the approval of germinal product establishments for bovine, porcine, ovine, caprine and equine animals in Chapter 1, registers to be kept by the competent authority of registered and approved germinal product establishments in Chapter 2, and record keeping obligations and traceability in Chapter 3. Part III lays down rules for the movements, collection, production, production, processing, storage, transport, testing and other procedures of germinal products of bovine, porcine, ovine, caprine and equine animals in accordance with animal health requirements in Chapter 1 and animal health certification in Chapter 2.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. It shall apply from 21 April 2021.
