Commission Directive 90/128/EEC relating to plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuff.

This Directive lays down basic rules and the list of stimulants to be used for testing migration of plastic materials and articles that shall not transfer their constituents to foodstuffs. Limits for migration are established and check that should be done in order to control the compliance with migration limits. Under Annex II a list of monomers and other starting substances which may be used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles is given.
