Abstract
The Annex to this Decision sets out the list of mandatory research surveys at sea and thresholds below which it is not mandatory for Member States to collect data based on their fishing and aquaculture activities or carry out surveys at sea covering the parts of the multiannual Union programme referred to in points (b) and (c) of Article 5(1) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1004, for the purposes of multiannual Union programme for the collection and management of data in the fisheries sector for the period 2020-2021.

Entry into force notes
This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall apply from 1 January 2020.
