Abstract
This Decision was adopted pursuant to Directive 2008/105/EC, which sets out environmental quality standards in the field of water policy for priority substances and certain other pollutants as provided for in Article 16 of Directive 2000/60/EC. In particular the Annex to this Decision identifies the watch list of substances for European Union-wide monitoring referred to in Article 8b of Directive 2008/105/EC.
