Abstract
The introduction into, movement within, or holding, multiplication or release within the Union territory of the specified pest is prohibited in accordance with Article 2. Therefore, this Regulation lays down rules for: (I) detection or suspected presence of the specified pest, (II) measures concerning the confirmed presence of the specified pest for eradication, (III) annual surveys for the presence of the specified pest on specified plants for planting, specified seeds and specified fruits in the Member States, (IV) conditions for movement of the specified plants and seeds for planting within the Union, (V) requirements for introduction into the Union of the specified plants and seeds for planting, and (VI) sampling and testing of the consignments of specified seeds and specified plants for planting at the border control post of first arrival into the Union.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
Notes
