Abstract
This Regulation establishes measures to prevent the introduction into and the movement, holding, multiplication or release within the Union of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV). The measures set out in this Regulation include: (I) measures in the case of suspicion or awareness of the presence of the specified pest, (II) annual surveys for the presence of the specified pest, (III) measures in case of confirmed presence of the specified pest, (IV) movement of the specified seeds and plants for planting within the Union if they are accompanied by a plant passport, (V) introduction into the Union of the specified seeds and plants for planting if they are accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, and (VI) official checks on introduction into the Union. Furthermore, this Regulation replaces the date 31 May 2023 by 31 August 2023 in Article 12 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1191.
