Abstract
This Regulation lays down rules regarding animal health certificates provided for in Regulation (EU) 2016/429 and animal health/official certificates based on Regulation (EU) 2016/429 and on Regulation (EU) 2017/625 related to certain categories of terrestrial animals and germinal products, including but not limited to bovine, ovine and caprine animals; camelid and cervid animals; equine animals; birds; poultry; and bees. This Regulation establishes model certificates, in the form of animal health certificates or animal health/official certificates for the movement between Member States in Annex I, for entry into the Union and transit through the Union in Annex II, and for the transport of terrestrial animals entering the Union by sea in Annex III.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and shall apply from 21 April 2021.
