Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1566/2007 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1966/2006 on electronic recording and reporting of fishing activities and on means of remote sensing.

This Regulation sets out detailed provisions in implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1966/2006, which concerns the electronic recording and reporting of data on fishing activities (catches, landings, transhipments, transports and sales) and remote sensing to assess the presence of fishing vessels in a given area. These provisions apply, as from 1 January 2010, to European Community fishing vessels exceeding 24 metres length overall; as from 1 July 2011, they apply also to European Community fishing vessels exceeding 15 metres length overall.
