Abstract

Pursuant to article 23(3) of Regulation (EC) No. 2371/2002 and article 19 of Regulation (EEC) No. 2847/93, this Regulation lays down provisions concerning the electronic recording and reporting of data on fishing activities (catches, landings, transhipments, transports and sales) and remote sensing to assess the presence of fishing vessels in a given area.
