Abstract
This Regulation sets out the marketing standards for melons. Subsequently, Regulation (EC) No. 1093/97 is hereby amended as follows: in the Title, the words “melons and” are deleted; article 1(1) is replaced by the following: "1. The marketing standard for watermelons, falling within CN code 0807 11 00, shall be as set out in the Annex."; Annex I is deleted.
The Annex hereto is divided into six Parts, as follows: (I) Definition of produce; (II) Provisions concerning quality; (III) Provisions concerning sizing; (IV) Provisions concerning tolerance; (V) Provisions concerning presentation; (VI) Provisions concerning marking.
