Abstract
The present Regulation lays down the marketing standard for table grapes, which shall apply at all stages of marketing in compliance with the provisions established in Regulation (EC) No. 2200/96. For the purposes of these provisions, “table grapes” means varieties grown from Vitis vinifera L. to be supplied fresh to the consumer. Table grapes for industrial processing are excluded. The marketing standard aforementioned is described with detail in the Annex attached. The latter is divided into six Parts dealing with the following issues: definition of produce; quality; sizing; tolerances; presentation; marking.

Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 1730/87 of 22 June 1987 laying down quality standards for table grapes is hereby repealed.
