Commission Regulation (EC) No. 599/2004 concerning the adoption of a harmonised model certificate and inspection report linked to intra-Community trade in animals and products of animal origin.

The various health certificates which are required in the context of intra-Community trade, with the exception of health certificates for registered equidae, shall be presented in accordance with the harmonized model attached to this Regulation. The model certificates encompass: (1) a standardized part I, details of the consignment ; (2) part II, certification , which aims at showing the requirements under the legislation specific to each species, type of production and type of product; and (3) a standardized part III, checks , recording the results of the inspections carried out in accordance with the rules in force.
