Abstract
This Regulation applies to aid granted to undertakings engaged in the primary production of agricultural products, excluding the following: (i) aid determined based on the price or quantity of products marketed; (ii) aid connected to export-related activities to third countries or Member States, specifically aid directly tied to export volumes, the creation and management of a distribution network, or other ongoing export-related expenses; (iii) aid conditioned on the preference for domestic goods over imported ones. It lays down detailed rules concerning the application of articles 107 and 108 of the European Union Treaty as regards the functioning of the European Union “de minimis” aid in the agriculture sector.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2014 and shall apply until 31 December 2032.
