Council Directive 82/243/EEC amending Directive 73/405/EEC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to methods of testing the biodegradability of anionic surfactants.

The present Directive lays down amendments to Directive 73/405/EEC which makes rules on the methods of testing biodegradability of anionic surfactants contained in detergents. Articles 2 and 3 of that Directive are replaced by the provisions contained in article 1 (2) hereto. Furthermore, the Annex, which describes with detail the reference methods to be used, is replaced by the Annex hereto.
