Council Directive 94/55/EC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States with regard to the transport of dangerous goods by road.

This Directive lays down the regulatory framework concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road within the territories of the Member States. It establishes the conditions under which dangerous goods may be transported by road (packaging and labelling; equipment and proper operation of vehicles).
