Abstract
The Decree aims at the transposition into the national legislation and application of Council Directive 94/55/EC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States with regard to the transport of dangerous goods by road. The Decree establishes the regulatory framework applying to the transport of dangerous goods by road within or between the territories of the Member States. It establishes the conditions under which dangerous goods may be transported by road (packaging and labelling; equipment and proper operation of vehicles). It shall not apply to the transport of dangerous goods by vehicles belonging to or under the responsibility of the armed forces.
