Abstract
This Directive makes rules on the transport of dangerous goods by rail within Member States or between Member States. Article 1 defines with further details the application scope. “Dangerous goods” shall mean those substances and articles the transport by rail of which is prohibited or authorized only on certain conditions by the Annex to this Directive. Chapter II lays down particular derogations, restrictions and exemptions.
