Abstract
This Regulation sets forth technical rules applicable to Community fishing vessels and governing: (a) the capture and landing of certain stocks of highly migratory species (those specified in Annex 1); (b) the capture of by-catches. The aim pursued is the conservation of highly migratory species. These technical measures concern allowed fishing gear, minimum sizes under which species may not be captured, length of vessels and restrictions on the number of vessels that may capture species covered by the Regulation.
