Abstract
This Regulation fixes the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks (herring, cod, plaice, Atlantic salmon and sprat) in the Baltic Sea for 2017. These provisions apply to European Union fishing vessels operating in the Baltic Sea. The Regulation also applies to recreational fisheries where they are expressly referred to in the relevant provisions. Annex IA to Regulation (EU) 2016/72 is amended as regards the entry for Norway pout in IIIa and European Union waters of IIa and IV.
