Council Regulation (EU) 2016/72 fixing for 2016 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in Union waters and, for Union fishing vessels, in certain non-Union waters, and amending Regulation (EU) 2015/104.

This Regulation fixes the fishing opportunities for 2016 for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable to: (a) European Union fishing vessels; (b) third-country vessels in European Union waters. This Regulation shall also apply to recreational fisheries where they are expressly referred to in the relevant provisions. The Total Allowable Catches (TACs) for Union fishing vessels in Union waters or certain non-Union waters and the allocation of such TACs among Member States, as well as the conditions functionally linked thereto, are set out in Annex I.
