Abstract
The present Regulation provides for the allocation among certain Member States of the fishing opportunities established under the Protocol between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution. Further it stipulates that if the applications for fishing authorizations from those Member States do not cover all the fishing opportunities set by the Protocol, the Commission may take into consideration applications for fishing authorizations from any other Member State, pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1006/2008 concerning authorizations for fishing activities of Community fishing vessels outside European Community waters.
