Directive 2003/105/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances.

This Directive lays down particular amendments and addenda to Directive 96/82/EC relating to the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances. Firstly, article 4 of that Directive, which determines those establishments and activities excluded from the application scope, is modified as per article 1 (1). Further amendments deal with notifications to be sent by operators, major accident prevention policy and domino effect. Lastly, Annex I is amended in accordance with the Annex hereby attached.
