Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and the financial contribution provided for by the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire on fishing off the coast of Côte d’Ivoire for the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2013.

This Protocol establishes the fishing opportunities granted under article 5 of the Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire on fishing off the coast of Côte d’Ivoire and relating to highly migratory species. The fishing opportunities refer both to freezer tuna seiners and to surface longliners and they shall apply for a period of six years as from 1 July 2007. Furthermore, the Protocol replaces the Annex to the Agreement, which lays down the conditions governing fishing activities by European Community vessels in Côte d’Ivoire’s fishing zone.
