Act amending the Act on the structural aid to agriculture (No. 1328 of 2022).

The present Act introduced a series of amendments to the Act on the structural aid to agriculture (No. 1476 of 2007). The Act does not apply to support or compensation granted to farmers for the cessation of production activities. It further does not apply to support financed by funds from the European Union's structural funds or the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund. The Act contains rules on, among other things, subsidy beneficiaries; start support for young farmers; investment support for farming; requirements for beneficiaries; types of supported measures; accounting obligation; procedural aspects of subsidy applications; inspections; repayment of support; cessation of support payments; reduced supports; penalties; etc.
