Abstract
The objective of the present Act is to maintain high-quality plant production by promoting the control of wild oat and preventing the spread of wild oat. It applies to all measures having these objectives.
Section 4 contains an obligation on holders of plantations to ensure that measures are taken to prevent the occurrence and spread of wild oat. Occurrences of wild oat shall be reported to the relevant authorities, which shall inspect the area and issue instructions for controlling wild oats if necessary.
The Control Center for Plant Production shall be responsible for the enforcement of this Act. Its rights and duties in connection with this mandate are described in detail.
