Abstract
The present Act lays down rules on the Regional State Administrative Agencies for Economic Affairs, Transport, and the Environment, as well as the employment and economic development offices under their authority. The Regional State Administrative Agencies for Economic Affairs, Transport, and the Environment shall promote regional development by managing the implementation and development tasks of the state administration in the regions. They manage tasks specifically prescribed for them within different areas of activity, including promotion of entrepreneurship and business activities; innovation and business operations related to internationalization; functioning labor markets, labor availability, and employment; education, knowledge, and culture; immigration, integration, and good ethnic relations; agriculture, fisheries, rural development, animal identification system, and safety of production needs and plant health in agriculture and forestry; energy and energy production; environmental protection, land use, construction management, care of cultural heritage, protection and sustainable use of biodiversity, and utilization and care of water resources; and others specified in Article 3.
The Act consists of 27 Articles organized in the following chapters: 1. General provisions; 2. Governance and management of the Regional State Administrative Agencies for Economic Affairs, Transport, and the Environment; 3. Employment and Economic Development Offices; 4. Special provisions.
