Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to amend the Decree on control on BSE affecting cattle (No. 8 of 2009).

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, made under section 12 of the Act concerning animal diseases, implements provisions of Commission Decision 2009/719/EC authorising certain Member States to revise their annual BSE monitoring programme. The articles that are amended are: article 6 on clinical examination of suspected cases of BSE; article 7 on measures for the confirmation or exclusion of suspected BSE; article 12 on disease monitoring of cattle that died on farms; and article 13 on disease monitoring of bovine animals that have been slaughtered, that has died or been killed in a slaughterhouse or that has died during the transport related to slaughter.
