Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry concerning the approval of institutions that examine plant protection products and concerning research and experimental activities (No. 9 of 2012).

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry prescribes, in accordance with the Law on Plant Protection Products, rules for: the testing activities on plant protection products as mentioned in section 18 of the Act; testing on the biological effectiveness and usefulness of the plant protection products; the procedure of approval of testing laboratories by the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency; the procedure for application for a permit for trials for research and development purposes under section 19 of the Act; and the content of the application for authorization and notification of trial and on experimental and research activities. The Schedule to this Decree sets out requirements for testing activities by approved institutions.
