Abstract
The present Decree introduces national arrangements for the implementation of Regulation (EC) No. 2015/2283 on novel foods. It designates the Finnish Food Authority as the national contact point for purposes of Novel Foods Regulation; regulates the procedure for determining the status of novel food; and describes the role of the Finnish Food Authority as scientific and expert advisory to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
