Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the control of potato cyst nematodes (No. 7 of 2010).

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry concerns the monitoring and assessment of the spreading of various forms of potato cyst nematodes and measures to control this disease affecting potatoes. Plant protection authorities shall report yearly to the European Communities and member states on the resistance to the disease of new potato varieties in accordance with Appendix IV of Council Directive 2007/33/EC. Changes in resistance to the disease in potato varieties shall be reported by operators to control authorities who shall further investigate. Other provisions of this Decree concern, among other things: control, monitoring and mapping of the occurrence of the disease; and measures to combat the disease regarding plant material, arable land and cultivation of high-quality potatoes.
