Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on fertilizers (No. 964 of 2023).

The present Decree prescribes the quality requirements for product categories, their component material categories and quality and processing criteria, the content of the list of component materials, the use of fertilizers and organic fertilizers, as well as category-specific labeling requirements, the method of declaration, and permissible tolerances for the properties of fertilizers. The requirements for each fertilizer product category regarding minimum nutrient content, other properties, limits for harmful substances, hygiene requirements, and other criteria are specified in Annex 1. Component materials for fertilizers must be handled in a manner that does not pose a risk of spreading animal diseases or plant pests. Quality and processing criteria for each component material category are specified in Annex 2.
