Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on fruit juice and certain similar products (No. 715 of 2009).

The present Decree, of the Ministry of Forestry and Agriculture, implements Council Directive 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption. The Decree applies to the fruit juices and certain similar products defined in Annex 1. In the production of the products listed in Annex 1, only raw materials as specified in Annex 2, ingredients as detailed in Part B of Annex 3, and additives as specifically regulated for use in foodstuffs may be used. In the production of the products mentioned in Annex 1, only processing methods and substances specified in Part C of Annex 3 may be used. The designations/product names in Annex 1 shall only apply to the products listed there and must be used in commerce to denote these products. Fruit nectars shall meet the specific requirements and standards set out in Annex 4.
