Abstract
The present Directive makes provision with respect to fruit juice, fruit juice from concentrate, concentrated fruit juice, dehydrated or powdered fruit juice and fruit nectar. Directive 2000/13/EC shall apply to the said products (which are defined with detail in Annex I to this Directive), subject to the conditions laid down in article 3(1). Four Annexes are attached. Annex I establishes the sale names that shall be used for such products as well as the authorized ingredients, treatment and substances. The information indicated in article 3 of the Directive shall appear in the labels. Annex II contains definitions of raw materials. Annex III refers to particular designations for certain products listed in Annex I. Lastly, Annex IV lays down special provisions relating to fruit nectars.
