Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the production, placing on the market and importation of planting material for fruit and berry plants (No. 5 of 2010).

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry applies to the production, sale and import of planting material for fruit and berry plants belonging to the genera and species listed in Schedule 1 and to hybrids. This Regulation shall also apply to plants of other genera and species if material of genera or species listed in Annex 1 or hybrids are grafted onto them. The Decree, among other things: provides for approval and registration of suppliers of planting materials; specifies quality requirements for plant material; provides rules for the packaging of plant material; provides for certification and plant passports; and defines rules regarding importation of plant material.
