Decree of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Affairs relative to quality requirements and the inspection and analysis of water used in households in small units (No. 953 of 1994).

This Decree is based on section 21 of the Public Health Act (No. 763 of 1994). The Decree formulates quality standards for water distributed to units not bigger than 10 dwellings or 50 persons, or used only for the production, processing, treatment, conservation or sale of foodstuffs. It shall not apply to mineral water or water used for medical purposes (sect. 2). Quality criteria are specified in the Schedule. Controls shall be carried out by municipal health authorities.
