This Decree lays down provisions on the information and documents required in applications for the deliberate release of genetically modified organisms and the risk assessment report to be prepared regarding the deliberate release of genetically modified organisms. It also concerns the monitoring plan for placing products on the market and the reporting of the results of the release of genetically modified organisms for any other purpose than for placing on the market. The applications shall be accompanied, among other things, by a summary of the application in accordance with Council Decision 2002/813/EC establishing, pursuant to Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, the summary notification information format for notifications concerning the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms for purposes other than for placing on the market.
