Abstract
This Decree implements certain provisions of the Forest Act of 1996. Section 2 provides a detailed description of measures to be considered as measures that bring about the renewal of forest resources. The Ministry responsible for forestry may make regulations respecting measures for the protection of forest stock in the sense of subsection 5 of section 8 of the Forest Act (sect. 6). Section 7 specifies particularly relevant "living environments" (habitats), a term used in subsection 2 of section 10 of the Act. Section 9 makes further provision for the notification to the Ministry of the use of forest resources. The remaining provisions deal with enforcement by the police force (sect. 10), notification to the Forestry Centres (sect. 11), the time table (sect. 12), further regulation (sect. 13), and entry into force (sect. 14).
