Abstract
This Decree of the Council of Ministers provides for the compensation of damage by golden eagles to reindeer in reindeer herding areas covered by the Reindeer Husbandry Act. It specifies the ground for compensation (estimated number of reindeer) and the amount of compensation. The compensation is determined according to a coefficient for each territory on the basis of golden eagles nesting situation and the production of offspring. The compensation shall differ from area to area. The Decree also provides for inspections.
