Abstract
The present Government Decree contains provisions regarding decoupled direct support paid for 2024, in accordance with Article 16.2 of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2021/2115. It pertains to support for the strategic plans that member states establish within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The support may be granted to active farmers for: 1. Basic income support; 2. Redistributive income support; 3. Income support for young farmers; and 4. Support for environmental schemes. Basic income support can be granted within support areas AB and C according to Annex 1 of the Government Decree no 1379 of 2022.
