Abstract
The present Act applies to the support included in Finland's strategic plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023–2027, as referred to in Articles 16.2 and 16.3(a) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council. It also applies to the granting and payment of aid to farmers in the event of market disturbances under Articles 219–221 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Income support include support for suckler cows and dairy cows, bulls, cattle in outer archipelago areas, slaughter calves, ewes, goats, slaughter lambs, starch potatoes and special crops. There are special rules for support for young farmers.

This Act applies in the Åland Islands if the matter falls within the legislative competence of the State under the Autonomy Act for Åland (1144/1991).
