Government Decree on the management of investment support for agriculture (No. 266 of 2023).

The present Decree contains provisions regarding activities eligible for investment support for agriculture under the Structural Support for Agriculture Act (1476/2007), as well as the maximum amount of investment support and the form of support. Structural investment refers to the erection, expansion, and thorough renovation of buildings, facilities, or structures used in production activities within agriculture, as well as the acquisition of machinery and equipment necessary for the intended purpose and function of the construction project. The following investments related to agricultural operations may be supported: a) Investments within the production sectors referred to in sections 4-10 aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and modernization of farm units; b) Investments promoting environmental conditions and sustainable production methods on farms; c) Energy investments of farm units; d) Investments promoting animal welfare and biosecurity.
