Government Decree No. 847 of 2012 on the environmental protection requirements for asphalt stations.

This Decree of the Council of Ministers, made under sections 12 and 65 of the Environment Protection Act, provides minimum environmental protection rules for the handling of asphalt in asphalt stations (a facility that manufactures asphalt, including asphalt recycling waste or fly ash in the production of asphalt), for which a licence is required under section 28 of the Act and to activities at asphalt stations registered under § 65 (1) of the Act. The Regulation concerns asphalt recycling waste and fly ash in asphalt stations of specified dimensions. Rules concern, among other things, location of stations, prevention of air pollution by ash, protection of soil and groundwater, noise pollution and disposal of waste.
