Regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry concerning prior notification of salmon fishing (270/2018).

This Regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, made under the Act introducing a sanctions regime for the enforcement of European Common Fisheries Policy, specifies the manner of prior notification to the Fisheries Control Center of salmon fishing as required by pursuant to section 20a of the Act. Section 20a imposes a duty, for salmon fishing between 16 April and 31 August, on the master of the fishing vessel to make one prior notification of the ship's time of arrival and place of arrival and of the ship as used for fishing at least 30 minutes before the ship arrives at the port or landing point.
