Abstract
The 60 sections of this Act are divided into 11 Chapters: General provisions (1); Limitation of the field of application (2); Financing of agricultural development (3); Financing of small-scale rural economic activities (4); Financing of housing construction (5); State loans and loans at reduced interest rates (6); State guarantees (7); Acquisition and alienation of land (8); Organization (9); Special provisions (10); Entry into force and transitional provisions (11).
The scope of this Act is to improve the structure of agriculture and forestry as well as rural activities in general. In particular, the Act aims at: (a) improving agricultural production; (b) improving the capital structure of enterprises in the field of agriculture and forestry; (c) balancing the development of agriculture and other rural economic activities; (d) improving the change of generations of farmers; (e) improving the work environment and promoting construction for agricultural purposes; and (f) safeguard environmental interests through sustainable development (sect. 1).
