Health and Safety at Work (General Workplace Conditions) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (L.N. No. 22 of 2024).

These Regulations insert new subregulations to regulation 66 of the principal Regulations regarding the inspection and audit of all workplaces under Schedule 2 by a health and safety inspector. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations in the heading is amended as Schedule 1 and these Regulations insert new Schedule 2 which classifies the nature of business as high or low risk. Schedule 2 lists poultry farming, forestry and logging, fishing, meat processing, milk and milk product processing, water sewage and drainage, and pest control services under high risk nature of business, whereas fruit and vegetable growing, cereal grains, sheep, cattle and pigs, trapping animals, fruit and vegetable processing, and food, drink and tobacco wholesalers are listed as low risk nature of business.
