Marine Act (Amendment) Decree 1991 (No. 23 of 1991).

Sub-section (2)(h) of section 227 of the principal Act as amended by Section 3 of the Marine Act (Amendment) Decree 1989 is amended by deleting "18 months" and replacing such by "2 years and 4 months". Sub-section (2)(b) of section 228 of the principal Act as amended by Section 4 of the Marine Act (Amendment) Decree 1989 is amended by deleting "18 months" and replacing such by "2 years and 4 months". Sections 227 and 228 make provision for transitional arrangements.
