Maritime Amendment Decree 2009 (No. 1 of 2009).

This Decree amends the Marine Act, 1986 in relating to, among other things, the succession of the Fiji Islands Maritime Safety Administration by the Maritime Safety Authority and related administrative arrangements and by repealing sections 56, 56A, 56B, 56C and 56D. Those sections concern the Marine Board and committees. The Decree also contains a provision on continuing into existence of subsidiary legislation made under the amended Act.
