Subchapter III of Chapter 4 of Title 26 of the Pohnpei State Code - Control and use of Mangrove and Upland Forests.

This Subchapter prescribes that all rights, title, and interest in the mangrove and upland forests in Pohnpei in the public domain are and shall remain in the government of the state of Pohnpei. It also defines the powers of local government with respect to the management and conservation of local forests and in particular mangrove and upland forests within each local jurisdiction.
