Alien and Locally Absent Species in Aquaculture (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 2292 of 2011).

These Regulations, for purposes of implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 708/2007 concerning use of alien and locally absent species in aquaculture, provide for control of species mentioned in Annex IV of the Regulation or locally absent species or locally absent species. They make provision with respect to permits issued by the competent authority under the Regulation, notifying movement of Annex IV species or locally absent species, environmental risk assessments, contingency plans, monitoring, inspections and enforcement and appeal against an enforcement notice. The Regulations also define offences.
